A new patch was released today for Marvel’s Spider-Man. While the patch brings in new features, fixes, and updates, the biggest thing that has come with the patch is a new, free suit. The “Webbed Suit” is based upon the Spider-Man suit from the Sam Raimi trilogy of films. It was highly requested ever since Insomniac Games announced that they will be releasing new suits as part of their DLC plans. James Stevenson, Community Director of Insomniac Games, had this to say about the news
The new features that were added to the patch include support for the upcoming Silver Lining DLC story pack, a new difficulty mode called “Friendly Neighborhood”, support for creating a new game plus save from a new game plus save file and new filters, frames and stickers for Photo Mode. Some of the fixes and updates that were added in the patch include several issues where some lines of dialogue were either delayed or didn’t play and a trophy issue where it was awarded when it shouldn’t have been.
Tomorrow, Silver Lining, the last chapter of The City That Never Sleeps, releases. Like the other two chapters, it will bring new story missions, enemy types, bases, challenges, trophies, and suits. One of the new suits is based on the box office hit, Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse. The other two suits that will become available are the Aaron Aikman Spider-Armor and the Cyborg Spider-Man suit. Silver Lining brings Silver Sable back into New York as she tries to reclaim her stolen Sable International tech. In order to save the city, Spider-Man will have to rely on unlikely allies.
