New Friday the 13th: The Game Trailer Out

Warning: A lot of descriptions of gory deaths are going to be in this article. If gore is something that you don’t like, please check out any of the other articles on here.

A new trailer for Friday the 13th: The Game is out now and it is in the form of a music video, which is a new one for me. It’s also worth noting the trailer is about as gory as the movie was: one of the first kills in the game is Jason lifting a woman above his head and throwing her own on the ground head first. Just before that, it’s implied that he threw someone out of a window, despite not being in the shot. He then drowns another girl in a toilet bowl. Next, he beheads a guy with an ex, in what appears to be some kind of campground. He’s then seen breaking a girl’s back by picking up a girl and kneeing her in the back as he drops her.

A new character the shows up and slams his pick ax into a girl’s face. Jason is seen again; this time he throws a man at a broken tree stub. Jason the gets a little more gory, this time picking up a man by the neck, assuming just to suffocate, but he then punches a man straight in the stomach, except his arm goes straight through the man’s body. When he pulls his arm out of the man, you can see straight through the corpse. The camera then zooms into the gaping hole in the body and straight into Jason’s face. After that, he stabs a man with a long blade, calmly takes it out and just stands there as the man bleeds out and dies. He then manages to one-up the punch kill, this time suffocating a woman, sticks both of his hands in her mouth and tears her jaw out.

There are even more gory kills to talk about, but I’ll leave that to your nightmares. You can watch the entire trailer below.

Friday the 13th: The Game features an asymmetrical multiplayer that pits one player, as Jason against the other players as campers. The game will be for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Bryan Ingram: My name is Bryan. I just graduated from High Point University with a degree in Journalism. I'm 25 and writing has always been a part of my life. I'm a big Pokémon fan, so I'l spend a lot of my time playing that. Other than that, I love sports, particularly the Charlotte Hornets and the Carolina Panthers. No matter how bad the team is, I will always rep them.
