Today, two Ubisoft games have gotten new events that are tailored for April Fools. What may seem utterly ludacris and inexplicable are in fact very real. For Honor has an event that brings in the Rabbids and Rainbow Six Siege has a new mode that has players tasked with saving their most important VIP, a teddy bear.
The Rabbids event in For Honor will last for 24 hours. It started on March 31 at 9 PM PDT and ends on April 1 at 9 PM PDT. Players who jump into the game during the event will get a melee pack as a reward. The event is part of Year of the Harbinger, which was released earlier this year. The new update brought a new hero, a new map, and more.
The Rainbow Six Siege event lasts from April 1-8. The event is titled Rainbow is Magic and it tasks players with rescuing a teddy bear from their evil captors on a reimagined version of the Plane map.
Alongside the new mode, players can choose from 13 reskinned operators who will look like toy soldiers and plushies; including Recruit, Montagne, Blackbeard, Ash, Thermite, Thatcher, Sledge, Smoke, Castle, Kapkan, Bandit, Frost, and Lord Tachanka.
The event also brings in 17 exclusive customization items which will feature plenty of toys, magical creatures, and a lot of cuteness. There is also magic-inspired outfits and headgear for certain Operators. These can be earned by completing Ubisoft Club challenges or by purchasing Rainbow Is Magic Collection packs which will cost 300 R6 credits. You can log in during the event to get a exclusive item automatically.
Rainbow Six Siege is also just into its latest update, Operation Burnt Horizon. The new update brought some major changes into the game. One of the biggest is Reverse Friendly Fire which will punish players who intentionally kill their teammates.
Rainbow Six Siege and For Honor are both available for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
