New Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Trailer Released at Gamescom 2016

Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for the upcoming Xenoverse sequel, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 at Gamescom 2016. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is game we have been covering since E3 and one that has been getting quite a few announcements. The new Gamescom 2016 trailer for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 can be seen below.

The new trailer for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 shows off a more polished looking version the game. The trailer mostly showcases the different customization for characters in battle. The characters show off their various transformations which we covered in a previous article. The battles also look very open, spacy, and focused on Ki blasts, like the previous Xenoverse. There is also and emphasis on the team work that can take place in the game. This is further driven home by the title for the trailer, “Fight Together.”

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is set to build upon the what made the original Xenoverse successful. It will include improved graphics (60 FPS and HD), a huge hub world (of up to 300 players at a time), and a very detailed character creation system (Thousands of options). The plot for Xenoverse 2 will revolve around fixing abnormalities in time, allowing players to visit iconic moments in the Dragon Ball franchise. Up to 6 players will be able to take place in both local and online multiplayer. Characters from Dragon Ball Super will also be a part of the already large cast of characters that covers the pantheon of memorable characters that make up the world of Dragon Ball. There will also be one year of free content and updates for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. The updates will be “regular” and are intended to add value after the original purchase.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is set to be released for PlayStation 4 an Xbox One October 25th in North America. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will also be available both in Europe and across the world for PC through Steam on October 28thDragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is also available for pre-order, with collector’s edition consisting of: a steel book, art book, soundtrack, and 13” Son Goku figure.
