New Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Multiplayer Beta Trailer Releases As Activision Shares More Details On The Beta Test Weekends

Today, a new multiplayer beta trailer was released for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare in anticipation of the multiplayer beta test starting this weekend. Activision has also shared more information on what you need to know about the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Beta Test.

Activision said that the Beta Test will have players “get an early look at a collection of several maps and modes Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has to offer before it releases on October 25. Be among the first to experience the intense multiplayer action, ranging from the quick, close quarter 2v2 Gunfight mode, to traditional 6v6 multiplayer gameplay and larger player count firefights. Try new gameplay mechanics, including bullet penetration, gun mounting, door breaching and night vision multiplayer gameplay maps featuring night vision goggles (NVGs) that allow for an amazing tactical experience.”

Recently, Activision had an open alpha weekend exclusive to PlayStation 4 that got gamers the chance to try the new Gunfight mode for themselves. The Beta Test will take place over two weekends with each lasting around five days. They’ll start on Thursday morning at 10am (PDT) and end on Monday morning. The first weekend will run from Thursday, September 12 to Monday, September 16 and it is exclusive to PlayStation 4 owners. The first two days of each weekend beta test are Early Access owners who have pre-ordered the game. The second weekend is for all consoles, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Crossplay will be available during this period of Thursday, September 19 to Monday, September 23. Early Access during the second weekend will be available for all consoles so you can play the game on Xbox or PC via Blizzard Battle.net if you’ve pre-0rdered the game on either platform.

Players can “expect an epic and ever-changing series of Maps, Playlists, and other content drops throughout the Beta Test Weekends, with surprises and a great deal of content to access!”

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare releases on October 25 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
