New Assassins Creed Odyssey: Legacy Of The First Blade Details; Launch Trailer Released

Ubisoft has provided more details on the first major story arc for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. The first episode of Legacy Of The First Blade, titled Hunted, is set to release December 4. Aside from the story, Legacy Of The First Blade will add new abilities and new gear. A launch trailer for the DLC has also been released alongside this announcement.

The story of Legacy Of The First Blade continues the Odyssey of Alexios or Kassandra as they get introduced to Darius, the first recorded wielder of a hidden blade and legendary assassin of the Persian king Xerxes. Alongside the introduction of Darius, Legacy Of The First Blade will delve into the earliest beginnings of the Assassin Brotherhood.

The story of Legacy Of The First Blade will be told in three episodes. The other two episodes, Shadow Heritage and Bloodline, will get released in early 2019. After Legacy Of The First Blade, another episodic story arc called The Fate Of Atlantis will also drop. The Fate Of Atlantis will dive into Greek mythology with the story revolving around a quest to save the sunken city. Both story arcs can be purchased separately or can be obtained with the Season Pass.

The Season Pass doesn’t just come with these two story arcs. Alongside Legacy Of The First Blade and The Fate Of Atlantis, you will get Assassin’s Creed III Remastered and Assassin’s Creed Liberation Remastered. Assassin’s Creed III Remastered will include all of Assassin’s Creed III‘s post-launch content which includes the Benedict Arnold missions, the Hidden Secrets Pack, and The Tyranny of King Washington. Both remastered editions will support 4k and HDR on PlayStation 4 Pro, Xbox One X, and PC. Both editions will also have higher-resolution textures, improved lighting rendering systems, and other graphical improvements. As with the story arcs, Assassin’s Creed III Remastered and Assassin’s Creed Liberation Remastered will be available separately as well in March 2019.
