It’s been nearly two years since Pokémon released a main series game, and fans have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of new Pokémon content. Now, it seems, fans won’t have to wait much longer, as an announcement released earlier today confirmed that Pokémon fans around the world will be getting more updates about two massive projects coming from The Pokémon Company within the next few months.
The next Pokémon Presents, coming to America at 6 am PDT, will feature a more informative dive into the two big projects coming from The Pokémon Company. Fans are anticipating a deeper look into Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, coming later this year, and Pokémon Legends: Arceus, set for release early next year.
Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, announced earlier this year in February, following a long tradition in Pokémon’s history as remakes of prior games, those being Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. While remakes are not a new concept within The Pokémon Company, the unique style of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, as well as the high anticipation among fans, has kept fan’s ears open to new news.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus, on the other hand, has a different story to tell. Pokémon Legends: Arceus will be the first open-world ARPG released by The Pokémon Company, and features a completely unique and original storyline and gameplay system.
