During the Summer Game Fest Nintendo’s Play Days, many games were showcased, one less noticed one was My Time at Evershine, who dropped a brand new trailer for the event. My Time at Evershine is a governance, building and adventure game where players get to be the “Governor” of a province. It’s a part of the “My time” series according to Steam, which features two other published games in the series, this will be the series’ latest addition and development.
The Trailer expands on the game description as it shows off the world of Evershine, while showing the Governor coming into his new territory. Pathea, the game developers and publishers as well as PM studios flash over the horse drawn carriage leading the Governor and his subordinate into an area full of lush greenery and wild lands. There, the Governor runs on a bridge to a white city on mountainous rocks, he also walks through desert lands to a flying bird with his subordinate, then another character walks through a pathway as builders build a tent.
Characters can dig materials, cut trees, and build housing in tandem with others. The settlement also teases the ability to harvests food. The Governor oversees the foundation of the territory when danger strikes, as bandits rush towards the territory. Once inside, they smash boxes and set fire to houses. Here, the trailer reveals battle mechanics, as the Governor and his subordinate are able to use swords and weapons to defeat the bandits in regular 1v1 and 1v2 fashion. After driving away the bandits, the Governor and “settlers” celebrate. Life goes back to normal as the settlement blooms into a proper civilization, with stalls, trade, painting and people discussing in the square, while the Governor watches on. His subordinate looks down at the settlement while standing on a tree, holding a sword. The trailer falsely ends, and a title page fills the screen, before jumping into a boss battle between the Governor, his party members and this monstrous robot tree creature. A party member tosses the Governors’ subordinate to slash at it with her sword, before the trailer actually ends this time. As the ending scene teases monsters and more to the world of Evershine than just a normal settlement game experience, those interested can wishlist the game as My Time at Evershine will drop sometime in 2027, on Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X and S and Steam via the trailer.
