Halloween events continue to pour in as Call Of Duty joins the fray. In what’s most likely the last major event in Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 before MW3’s release, Call Of Duty has released their Halloween update titled the Haunting. This update brings many additions such as new cosmetics, new game modes, map reskins, and a bunch of ghoulish changes to the warzone map Al Mazrah. Including a freighting new boss enemies.
The majority of the update is in regards to Warzone 2 with MW2’s multiplayer reaching its final stage in the games lifespan. There are five new wanted enemies/locations that will appear around the map. The Butcher from Diablo 4, The swamp creature, The Pharaoh, The UFO, the Ghost Train, and the Evil Spirits. These will be scattered around a haunted Al Mazrah. The warzone portion of the update also includes two new modes, one being Zombie royale, and the other being Operation Nightmare. More loot boxes were added but this time they’re called haunted boxes. Also a new piece of equipment was added, the bloodseeker grenade, it functions similarly to the snapshot grenade already in game.
Now as for multiplayer there were a couple of added game modes such as a unique twist on the fan favorite mode infected. Now players who die don’t just have knives and look like normal soldiers, they are now made to look like the undead and have supernatural abilities. Other game modes in multiplayer that are receiving terrifying twists are Kill confirmed, Grind, Domination, and Drop zone.
All of Call Of Dutys most frightening collabs are returning with some newcomers. Skeletor, Ash Williams, Alucard Hellsing, Doom Tracer Pack, and Inarius and Liltih from Diablo 4 all make an appearance and are available to purchase as bundles in the store right now. With Spawn being the final tier in the Battle Pass for this season as well.
