MultiVersus has made a new announcement via Twitter that Season 1 will be coming out soon. After season 1 was delayed earlier this month which led to fans not knowing when season 1 was going to come out along with the new playable characters Rick and Morty. Season 1 will be coming out on August 15 with the release of Rick and Morty following on August 23.
This platform game has had players excited to see what will be added next to the game when new announcements are made about the game and the new materials that will be added for season 1. Players are also looking forward to new characters being added to the roster. The characters that are already on the roster are Arya Stark, Batman, Bugs Bunny, Finn the Human, Garnet, Harley Quinn, Jake the Dog, Reindog, Shaggy, Steven Universe, Superman, Tom, and Jerry, Wonder Woman, Taz, The Iron Giant, Velma, and LeBron James.
In another post, it was also said that not everything for season 1 will come out all at once and will all come out over time. Season 1 modes and the content will come out though out the whole of season one.
Based on the numbers, it seems that MultiVersus is a big hit. In just three weeks, the game has surpassed 10 million players. With the variety of characters, it will be interesting to see what characters become part of the game and how many more players they bring in going forward.
