Developed by Scopely in collaboration with Hasbro, Monopoly GO! is the hit mobile adaptation of the Monopoly board game. The game was released only a year ago in 2023, but it has already grossed $3 billion. This makes it the first mobile game to achieve $3 billion in such a short period. Monopoly GO! is free to download, which means that the game’s profit is generated almost entirely by in-app purchases.

The game maintains interest among its fans by continuously adding new features and events. Monoply GO!’s upcoming Roll Treasures event promises to do the same, implementing new dice rolls and prizes for a limited time along with 12 new levels of progression. The event kicked off today and is set to end soon on February 27, 2025, and it tasks players with uncovering hidden artifacts using Pickaxe Tokens. Most events in Monopoly GO! have a tendency to last around five days, making the Roll Treasures event unique. This event gives players just two days to complete a potential 12 levels of progression, each one providing limited time rewards.

A YouTube video posted on February 24 showcases around 8 minutes of the Dig minigame’s gameplay. It progresses through all 12 levels, completing each one in full. In response to a comment under the video the YouTube channel, Bharti Games and Crafts, claims that it only took “4-5k” dice to complete the minigame.

Completing all the levels of Roll Treasures will require around 200-250 Pickaxe Tokens, according to Saurabh Shetty from GamingonPhone. The event is already in full swing, and will end soon, making it stand out among Monopoly GO’s ever-expanding list of special events, fundraisers, and celebrity partnerships.
