Since the Steam Next Fest in June 2026, Bellring Games has been working hard prepping Mistfall Hunter for its upcoming release date on July 29 (PST). It is a game players have been anticipating, making it one of the top 5 most played demos at Steam Next Fest this year.

For those who have not heard about the game yet, it is a dark fantasy extraction shooter set in a ruined world where the gods have fallen. A Gyldenmist covers the land and players a revived by a mysterious girl named Dew. Caught in a brutal cycle for survival, players must scavenge in a world where every battle is a gamble.

The game has come a long way from their preview at Summer Games Fest 2025 and here is what prospecting players should know come launch. There will be a launch day discount available for the first two weeks, deducting 10% off the total cost for both the standard and deluxe edition. Mistfall Hunter standard edition is set at $24.99 while the deluxe edition is $39.99.

In the deluxe edition, players will receive exclusive rewards and 2,500 Fate Coin used for buying in-game cosmetics. They will receive the Forsaken Skeleton cosmetic set along with emotes, an avatar photo of Dew with a frame, a Web of Fate earring, and more.

Players can also look forward to new content that will be added at launch as well as a future Developer update later this month. The new context will include seasonal tasks, the “Soul Harvest” gameplay, and events related to Season 1 “Soul Hunt.” Players interested in participating in the seasonal features should keep in mind that the Battle Pass for Season 1 will be free.

A new Withered Knight weapon archetype will be included at launch along with holy weapons. There will be a Ladder & Tier reward system and a pedestal where players can display their hard earned loot in their camps. Other features include a cataclysm difficulty for Brandrgarde.

Remember to keep an eye out on July 29th for Mistfall Hunters, which will be available for Playstation 5 and on Steam for PC. The game will also be coming soon to the Xbox Game Pass.
