Mission 51 Won’t Be Included In The Definitive MGSV Experience

How definitive will the upcoming Definitive Metal Gear Solid V Experience actually be? Some say not very. According to Kotaku, the game won’t include the cut Mission 51 which contained some important story moments. Moments that when not included make the story seem confusing.

The original game launched with fifty missions, but rumors started circulating involving a lost mission. Kotaku reported that in behind-the-scenes feature only available to Collector’s Edition owners there was a cut fifty-first mission that resolves certain plotlines. Effectively, either Konami or Kojima himself decided to cut the game’s ending, which naturally annoyed fans. So when the latest edition of the game was announced people wanted to know if the game would be getting an ending.

In a series of tweets, it was reveal that Konami has no plans to release the mission, or complete it all. The official Metal Gear said in response that all info is contained within the game either in cutscenes or through the cassette tapes. They also said that Metal Gear games have always been ambiguous.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Definitive Experience will be out for Xbox One, PS4, and PC October 11th and will cost $49.99. To see what is included in the game you can check out our article here.
