Mediatonic Mentions Mobile Game Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is False with Bilibili Releasing it in China

The mass-multiplayer game Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout has become a viral hit since its release on August 3rd.The game is about competing against a horde of players in escalating chaos with the goal being the last player standing after overcoming various challenges that are both bizarre and hilarious. It was also released for PC/Steam and PlayStation only. There are, however, some rumors about the game the developer Mediatonic has stated to be false as well as unconfirmed.

With the game receiving worldwide attention, there are false claims about the game to be released as a mobile title. Mediatonic stated in a Twitter post that it did not release a mobile version and how the company is currently focused on the game’s development on the PC and PS4. One of the claims was posted as a video, where a user shows a Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout app and gameplay on a mobile device. The video also appears to have a mouse cursor on the device’s screen that implies that it was just a simple recording from the actual game. If you see such videos, probably better to move on to something else.

In addition, there has been an announcement that a Chinese game and entertainment company Bilibili has secured the rights to publish Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout in China. There has been no confirmation about the release in the West with no comments to be made on the post by Mediatonic as well. The game, however, may also be arriving to mobile and published by Mediatonic once they finish have more time. Check out their company website or Twitter page for more updates in the future.

Despite these claims, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is still a game that many players hope will be released as a mobile title. After all, all it takes is a joystick and a few buttons to play. In the end, Mediatonic states that it would “love to bring the game to other platforms further down the line.” –  a comment made on their website.
