Marvel’s Spider-Man DLC 1 Teaser Shows Off Black Cat

Just days away from the release of the highly anticipated Marvel’s Spider-Man,  Sony and Insomniac have decided to release a teaser for the first part of the three-chapter DLC series, which will be called “The City That Never Sleeps”. Available on October 23, “The Heist” will revolve around the return of Felicia Hardy, better known as Black Cat. The new teaser reveals her new design and gives us a taste as to what this DLC will entail. While it was revealed that the base game will have clues of her return to the city, this DLC will have you pursuing the expert thief directly.

Although it was revealed months earlier that there would be DLC for this game, Insomniac decided to give out the titles for all 3 chapters for “The City That Never Sleeps” and the release calendar, roughly scheduling the release of each chapter as revealed in a blog post. The calendar seems to indicate that all 3 chapters will be released once a month starting from October and ending in December when the final chapter releases. You can look at the blog post posted by James Stevenson, community director of Insomniac Games here.

The release of “The Heist” will add new missions and challenges, alongside a new faction of enemies, and even three new costumes to unlock. The opener to the post-launch content for Marvel’s Spider-Man, as well as all other individuals chapters, will be priced at $9.99, but there will be a bundle that will include every chapter of “The City That Never Sleeps” that will cost $24.99. The Digital Deluxe Edition is priced at $79.99, and it will contain both the full game alongside all DLC. In addition, pre-ordering the Digital Deluxe Edition will not just give access to the pre-order bonus content, but also a physical pin.

Marvel’s Spider-Man releases on Friday, September 7 for the PS4.
