Developed by LILITH TECHNOLOGY HONG KONG LIMITED, Palmon: Survival is an upcoming mobile game where players adventure through a world full of powerful creatures called Palmon.  Its gameplay centers around capturing and taming various Palmon, all while attempting to survive a desolate continent. Poachers and dangerous secrets threaten players at every turn, giving them ample opportunity to utilize their Palmon’s unique powers. These special abilities range from igniting fires to cultivating farmland, all of which prove useful as the player attempts to survive.

The game was posted to the Google Play Store on December 2, 2024, and recently launched early access for Android and iOS users in select regions. The unfinished game is currently available in areas of the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines.

A ten-minute video posted to YouTube on November 8, 2024, showcases a great deal of Palmon: Survival’s current gameplay. It starts out by demonstrating the game’s farming and base building aspects, with the player’s avatar planting crops and instantaneously translating their yields into currency. The subsequent profit is then used to build and upgrade buildings in their base. While expanding the island, the player encounters a Palmon named Graffity. They use a laser device called a Palcatcher to lower the Palmon’s health until the creature is sucked inside and captured. The gameplay clips continue, showcasing farming elements like picking apples and milking cows for sustenance. The farming process is once again interrupted by the sudden discovery of another Palmon, which is subdued and captured like Graffity. This pattern of farming and capturing continues back and forth until the video ends.

The game appears “quite promising” according to the writers at GamingonPhone, as it offers players a “fun experience while capturing mysterious creatures, battling against cute poachers, and also enjoying gameplay similar to Hay Day and Palworld.” Anyone interested in trying out Palmon: Survival right away can do so by seeking the game out on the App Store and Google Play Store, so long as they reside in the selected regions of the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
