League of Legends K-Pop Group K/DA Comeback Announced with New Skins Teaser

With their debut back in 2018, the League of Legends K-pop group K/DA featured unique in-game skins and live performances of the game’s characters Ahri, Akali, Kai’Sa, and Evelynn. Performing their song POP/STARS live at the League of Legends Worlds Opening Ceremony in 2018, each champion was voiced by professional singer or artist. K/DA also performed live at the League of Legends 2019 World Championship, along with the other in-game music group, True Damage. Featuring vocals from Miyeon (Ahri) and Soeyeon (Akali) of the K-pop group (G)I-DLE, Madison Beer (Evelynn), and Jaira Burns (Kai’Sa) the group also released an official animated music video and performance for POP/STARS. Official skins were released for each of the characters as well, with prestige variants released later in 2019. The latest announced comeback was tweeted via the official K/DA Twitter account, revealing an official date for the group’s comeback.

Similar to their debut, the K/DA comeback will feature a music video and a new unique line of skins for the champs in the group. Premiering on August 28th, K/DA’s newest pre-release single titled “The Baddest” was announced via the newly created K/DA twitter account, indicating a possible future album release for the group. Along with the newest song and music video, the Twitter account header features a silhouetted image of the K/DA members in their new skins.

Kai’Sa’s look has changed entirely, with a new hairstyle and adjustments to the visuals on her wings. Other visual details are harder to distinguish from the image, but the comeback may also feature a unique clothing line similar to True Damage’s Prestige Senna and Qiyana skins. The skin collaboration with Loius Vuitton gave in-game clothing and items to the characters, showing off the brand’s logo. K/DA’s music video comeback, “The Baddest” is set to release on August 28th on their official YouTube channel.
