Last year, Square Enix unveiled the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra: World Tour in light to celebrate the game’s 15th anniversary. Each show was beloved by the attendees, and some even had some surprises in store for them, such as new lore for the already complicated story, exclusive merchandise, guest appearances from the development staff and voice actors, and even a brand new trailer for the highly anticipated Kingdom Hearts III.
The tour seems to have been a success, because it has been confirmed that the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra: World Tour will return for an encore this year and have a renewed show in 2019 as well. The encore for this year will take place in 18 cities total, with 11 of those cities being within the United States. Here is a list of the stops:
- Los Angeles, California – June 9, 2018
- Sydney, Australia – July 7, 2018
- Chicago, Illinois – July 13, 2018
- Detroit, Michigan – July 14, 2018
- Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania – July 16, 2018
- Boston, Massachusetts – July 19, 2018
- Toronto, Canada – July 21, 2018
- Atlanta, Georgia – July 26, 2018
- Dallas, Texas – July 28, 2018

- Honolulu, Hawaii – August 12, 2018
- Sao Paolo, Brazil – September 8-9, 2018

- Milan, Italy – September 22, 2018
- Seoul, South Korea – October 6, 2018
- Mexico City, Mexico – October 20, 2018
One interesting aspect on this list is the very first show on the list which takes place in Los Angeles right before E3. It is currently unknown if Square Enix is planning a big reveal at this opening show for the Orchestra’s encore, but it sure isn’t something that fans of Kingdom Hearts III will easily overlook. Square Enix previously held a show around the very same time last year in Los Angeles as well. During this show, the series director for Kingdom Hearts Tetsuya Nomura made a guest appearance, and he brought along a brand new Kingdom Hearts III trailer which gave fans their first fresh look at the game in almost two years. Kingdom Hearts III has received quite bit of attention within the last few months and it seems as the more it is shown the more popular it gets.
