On June 3rd, Square Enix released trailer for the Just Cause 3: Mech Land Assault DLC, the second DLC Pack of the games Air, Land & Sea Expansion pass. A new animated trailer has been released today, which shows the destructive power of Rico Rodriguez’s giant mech-suit.
In this new DLC pack, Rico Rodriguez must venture to the island of Lacrima, where he must save prisoners from the mysterious organization known as Black Hand. This organization wields powerful Mechs that Rico can hijack with the help of the new Bavarium Power Core Rifle.
Once inside, Rico can use the Mech’s Gravitational Remote Influence Projector, or “GRIP,” to attract and throw large objects at enemies.
The GRIP can also be used to knock helicopters out of the air and ground pound enemy tanks on land. There are two types of Mech’s, both of which can be driven around the entire island of Medici.
The Mech Land Assault Expansions will be available on June 10th. The pack will be sold individually for $12, or you can download the Air, Land & Sea Expansion Pass for $24.99. The Expansion Pass includes the previous Sky Fortress DLC and the upcoming Bavarium Sea Heist content pack, which will be released by the end of summer 2016.
I don’t mean to toot my own horn, but I totally called giant robot suit as the next DLC back in February. If my predictions are correct, Rico will be riding a shark in the final DLC pack.
