Jump Force Open Beta Starts Next Weekend For Consoles

Jump Force is right around the corner and it seems like PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners will get the chance to try it out early. The test is scheduled to start and end next weekend, scheduled from January 18-20. On January 18th, the test will last from 4 am to 7 am PST, and then will start again at 9 pm until 12 am PST. On the 19th the test will last from 8 am to 11 am PST. For the final day of the test, the 20th, the test will last from 12 pm until 3 pm PST. This schedule of only having the beta open for limited amount of time is similar to the beta test done in Japan for the title.

While we recently saw the announcement of characters like Deku and Asta, it seems like those characters won’t be part of the open beta. The 17 playable characters include Goku, Luffy, Gon, Yusuke, Ichigo, Naruto, and Kenshiro among other iconic characters. The 5 playable stages that players will be able to duke it out in include iconic anime locations such as Namek, New York, and Mexico. For those interested in the beta, it is available to pre-load starting January 17 on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Outside of the open beta, Jump Force has been showing off tons of new content. We saw the custom characters in more detail recently, showing off how the skills available are from the various anime included in Jump Force. For those who have played either of the games in the Dragon Ball Xenoverse series, it is comparable to those titles. The way custom characters have their appearances customized will be done with clothing also from the anime in Jump Force, even apparel that belongs to characters who aren’t part of the roster.

Jump Force releases on February 15 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
