Jujutsu Kaisen Crossover Returns To Honor Of Kings With New Skins And Features

Developed by TiMi Studio Group, a subsidiary of Tencent Games and headquartered in Shenzhen, China, Honor of Kings is one of the world’s most popular MOBA. The game hosts more than 200 million registered users and over 100 million daily players. With a large cast of detailed character designs and battlefield layouts, players are able to engage with Honor of Kings’ immersive in-game universe. Honor of Kings features a music score created by famed composers such as Hans Zimmer, Joe Hisaishi, and Howard Shore and emphasizes fair-to-win gameplay that depends on player strategy and skill. The game is free to play and welcomes professional players and curious amateurs alike.

On November 1, 2024, Honor of Kings held a collaboration with Jujutsu Kaisen, a popular anime series. Jujutsu Kaisen follows a high school student named Yuji Itadori with exceptional physical abilities who becomes involved in the world of Jujutsu Sorcery after consuming a cursed object. This act binds him to Sukuna, making Yuji a target for both sorcerers and curses.

Today Honor of Kings announced the 2nd phase of its collaboration with Jujutsu Kaisen, sharing the news via a post on the game’s official X (formerly Twitter) account. The post declares that as a part of the event, players will receive collab skins, collab heroes, and collab stickers and avatars, all for free.

The Sima Yi – Megumi Fushiguro skin is available and can be acquired through a limited time lucky draw. The Lady Sun – Nobara Kugisaki is available from can be gained through a limited time draw as well. The Guiguzi – Cathy skin, which is apparently entirely free, can be unlocked by completing the Jujutsu Kaisen Puzzle Event. In addition to these skins, players can also acquire the JJK-themed background effect. The Megumi Fushiguro Background effect is also acquired through another limited time lucky draw. These exclusive rewards are available in Honor of Kings from March 20 to April 19.

When it comes to Honor of Kings gameplay, the Jujutsu Kaisen collab will introduce two phases of unique themes game modes. Phase one, Cursed Spirit Crusade, is set to last from March 20 to March 31. Players can obtain these rewards by participating in one match for 50 Diamonds, winning one match for 50 Arcana Fragment, and by defeating the boss 3 times to win the permanent Jujutsu Collab Title, “Jujutsu Kaisen.” Phase two, Cursed Spirit Dreamscape Showdown, will span from April 1 to April 17, and features “fast-paced 5v5 battles where the stakes rise as crystals transform into cursed spirits.” This phase’s rewards can be obtained by participating in one match for 5o diamonds, participating in three matches for 500 Diamonds, and by earning three victories to win the Permanent Cathy Finisher.
