Is Dead Space Gonna Make a Comeback?

Dead Space, the series that brought back survival horror might not be, um, dead yet, as Visceral Games said they would like to bring back the series. Dead Space was originally released in 2008, and after its release it gathered a huge following of people who could just not get enough of the game.

Visceral Games made two sequels to the Dead Space series; the first sequel received just as much hype as the first one, whereas the second one did not receive as much enthusiasm as the first two. EA CFO Blake Jorgensen even said that Dead Space 3 “came in below our forecast,” even though Dead Space 3 sold 605,000 copies in North America during its debut month.

Visceral Games is currently working on Battlefield Hardline, the cops and robbers of first person shooters, which will be released on March 17. Visceral Games General Manager Steve Papoutsis had this to say: “Many, many people here at Visceral have a warm spot in their heart for Dead Space, and right now we’re busy with Hardline and…other things… but it’s definitely something we’d love to look at again.” This was in an interview he told to GamesTM, if you would like to read this interview just follow this link.

Those of you looking forward to Battlefield Hardline don’t have to wait too long, as next Tuesday it will be on shelves at your local store.
