Iron Marines Goes Free on Google Play

As of April 10th, Iron Marines is officially free to play! The developer behind the game, Ironhide Game Studio, has made the app available for free on Google Play. Now, all Android players can conquer galaxies and defend their bases in the popular real-time strategy game.

Iron Marines is an action-packed game that’s easy for anyone to get into, and Ironhide Game Studio wants players to do just that. “Go, go, go!” the studio wrote as they announced the game’s new pricing. “Prepare yourself for the intergalactic journey, get those Android devices and get IRON MARINES FREE!!! Now more than ever, get ready to battle in amazing sci-fi worlds! Command brave soldiers, mighty mechas and powerful aliens to face the greatest challenges in hostile alien worlds. The galaxy needs you!”

In Iron Marines, your troops must “have what it takes to achieve victory. Protect your bases with the most advanced defense towers while spraying your enemies with bullets, missiles and laser rays.” Iron Marines also has unique features for players to use strategically in their missions. With a wide range of weapons and troops to be deployed at just the right moment, you’ll never see a round of gameplay in Iron Marines devolve into a war of attrition.

In Iron Marines: Recruit and train the greatest heroes in the galaxy, lead them into dangerous missions against near impossible odds and unleash their mighty powers and abilities. Adapt your strategy by changing the role of your troops even in the thick of the combat, from ranger to sniper, from flamethrowers to missile launchers. Turn the tide of battle with bomb strikes, intelligent mines, support troops, turrets and a wide range of special weapons. Countless enemies, adrenaline, tactics and silly humor awaits you on a galaxy not that far away.

Iron Marines comes from Ironhide Game Studio, the Uruguayan game developer behind popular games including Iron Marines Invasion, Clash of the Olympians, and Junkworld. Ironhide Game Studio is also behind the entire Kingdom Rush series: Kingdom Rush, Kingdom Rush Frontiers, Kingdom Rush Origins, Kingdom Rush Vengeance, and Legends of Kingdom Rush.
