Instruments Of Destruction Comes To PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S On March 27

Developer Radiangames have announced that they will be releasing their indie physics based vehicle-destroying game Instruments of Destruction for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on March 27. Gematsu shares that Instruments of Destruction was released for PC in Early Access via Steam on March 2, 2022 and received a full PC release on May 10, 2024.

The setting of Instruments of Destruction are a variety of remote islands and outposts around the world. You’ll assume the role of a vehicle test pilot for Sharpe Industries with the objective of demolishing structures in a sandbox type setting. The game features a physics based destruction system wherein each object will interact with one another.

Luke Schneider, Sole developer on Instruments of Destruction shares about his experience creating the game in an interview with Smile Politely “…The big one that I released this past year, Instruments of Destruction, took more than four years. A lot of times, I worked 50 or more hours per week, and at the end of the project I was working over 100 hours per week.” He goes on to share about his work“ It’s one of the coolest destruction games that you can play. And even though destruction is the big feature, I think it has the most varied vehicle lineup of any game ever, just in terms of what you can drive and everything you can do. The variety of the game is probably its strongest suit — there’s just nothing else quite like it.”

Instruments of Destruction features 50 missions and high score challenges. Each mission features a unique vehicle and mouse optional aiming has been added to specific vehicles.

Developer Luke Schneider has highlighted that the game is for players seeking a varied and exciting experience, if it can deliver on that promise the title will find a warm welcome come March.
