PlayStation has announced the free games for December for PlayStation Plus subscribers, with a theme of “fast-moving, powerful machines.” PlayStation 4 gamers with active subscriptions can enjoy Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall 2 and Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Videogame. Both titles will be available from December 3rd, 2019 through January 6th, 2020.
Titanfall 2 is “an intense first-person shooter” where players take control of a rifleman named Jack Cooper in his career as a Pilot with “impressive maneuverability” on his own, but when in partnered with BT-7274, his Titan war machine, has access to some impressive, beastly power on the battlefield. Jack Cooper and BT-7274 need to work on their synergy to reach their maximum potential through Titanfall 2’s highly regarded single-player campaign, and those skills transfer over to the game’s online multiplayer modes.
The second game up for grabs is Monster Energy Supercross, an arcade-style motocross racer that ties-in with Monster’s official Supercross competitive events. The game features all the official “bikes, tracks, and riders,” as well as items from brand partnerships that players can use to design and customize their rider for online play. Monster Energy Supercross also features a track editor that lets players “make and share [their] own custom creations” with others online.
The free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers in November were Team Ninja’s action role-playing game Nioh and Outlast 2, a psychological survival horror title from Red Barrels, which are still claimable until December 3rd. As long as the games are added to the user’s library, they can be downloaded at any time.
PlayStation Plus subscribers with the PS VR headset can also take advantage of December’s Limited Free Trial of Firewall Zero Hour, an online first-person tactical shooter by First Contact Entertainment, which will be available via the PS Store from December 3rd through the 9th. The Trial event includes access to all the latest “maps, weapons, and equipment” Firewall Zero Hour has to offer, as well as awarding players with Double XP for all players.
