Heartworm is a retro-survival horror game by Vincent Adinolfi, published by DreadXP, in which you play as Sam, unable to move on from the death of her beloved grandfather, who falls down an internet rabbit hole in pursuit of the promise of reuniting with him. Following the lead of a mysterious forum, she finds herself at a supposedly supernatural house in the mountains, hoping to make contact with the other side. Heartworm is a love letter to late-90s genre staples like Silent Hill and Resident Evil, so if you’re a fan of the old survival-horror games, this is a great pick.
