After the single player game play preview was released in July, players have been waiting patiently for new information regarding the online mode of the upcoming blockbuster release. A short preview at the end of the game play footage revealed hundreds of players roaming the streets Los Santos.
The series has evolved in grand steps since the last time we saw Los Santos under the eye of Rockstar, and these new additions to the game will only elevate the anticipation that the game has already received. The multiplayer facet is such a large component because it grants users the opportunity to turn their single player experience into a larger community based experience. Much like the multiplayer mode on GTA IV, players hope that GTA V’s vision will continue to allow players to roam freely and interact upon the stage of an enormous map. The short preview that was revealed shows promise and fans are wondering if more components from the single player campaign (i.e. Real Estate purchases, car purchases, etc.) will push into the multiplayer realm as well.
The game is already tracking huge numbers and analysts are expecting the game to sell as many as “20 million copies before the end of March 2014.” These are staggering numbers, and much like its predecessor, GTA V is on track to become one of the largest video game releases in modern history.
As far the multiplayer mode will work? All will be revealed when the preview is released on August 15th, 2013.
GTA V will be released September 16th, 2013.
