Earlier this year, Google revealed Stadia, the game-streaming service that allows you to pick up and play games anywhere across variety of devices in an instant utilizing Google’s data centers. Today, Google has revealed what games will be available to play when Stadia launches on November 19 and what will be coming to the platform by the end of the year.
Google revealed that 12 games will be available on day one. Those games are Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, Destiny 2: The Collection, GYLT, Just Dance 2020, Kine, Mortal Kombat 11, Red Dead Redemption II, Thumper, Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, and Samurai Showdown.
14 additional games will be available for Stadia by the end of the year. Those games are Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle, Borderlands 3, Darksiders Genesis, Dragonball Xenoverse 2, Farming Simulator 19, Final Fantasy XV, Football Manager 2020, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, GRID, Metro: Exodus, NBA 2k20, Rage 2, Trials Rising and Wolfenstein: Youngblood.
Gamers can start playing the launch lineup and other titles later in the year with the Stadia Founder’s Edition which packs nearly $300 of value into just $129.99. The Founder’s Edition includes a Chromecast Ultra, limited-edition Night Blue Stadia controller, three months of Stadia Pro, a three month Buddy Pass, and dibs on selecting a Stadia Name.
Stadia Pro is a subscription service that allows for games to be played up to 4k resolution at 60 frames per second with 5.1 surround sound and other benefits such as free content and discounts on titles you purchase. The first free title is Destiny 2: The Collection which includes the base game, all add-ons including the recently released Shadowkeep, and the annual pass. Stadia Pro costs $9.99 per month. Gamers can also use Stadia for free with Stadia Base coming in 2020. Unlike Stadia Pro, Stadia Base plays games up to 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second.
