Gaming Chair Company Partners with Swarovski for Special Edition Chair

For gamers who like a little style and aren’t afraid of spending money, the opportunity to literally sit in the lap of luxury has arisen with a gaming chair embedded with Swarovski crystals. Vertagear, a company that makes chairs and accessories, has partnered with the jewelry icon to create a chair that goes above and beyond to provide the most sparkly throne for gamers. The PL4500 Crystals from Swarovski chair is available for pre-order now, retailing at $600, and is expected to ship in late July.

The chair is, fortunately, not encrusted with gems, but provides the general Vertagear chair experience and tasteful highlights of crystals. The seat and back are diamond-patterned, there are crystals along the seams, and the logo boasts its own cluster of rocks. Enjoyed by the rest of the chair is the technology that makes Vertagear chairs high end, supportive, and comfortable, including UPHR foam, an industrial grade class 4 gas lift, and steel frame. In their mission statement, Vertagear says, “Brought to life in 2015 by a mixture of computer hardware veterans, furniture specialists, designers and gamers, our aim is to develop products catered to the sensibilities of the gaming community by combining the full spectrum of our expertise. Design, comfort, functionality and quality-we have it all.” They certainly exceeded expectations in the design and quality of this new special edition gaming chair.

The release of this chair as a result of a partnership between the two seemingly unrelated companies fits in the trend of gaming breaking into fashion and jewelry industries in new ways. Balenciaga and Gucci are both high-end companies that have announced partnerships with various names in the gaming industry. The future of luxury really is in gaming and in the hands of the gamers themselves.
