People now have the option of purchasing a new Xbox One S or Playstation 4 Slim at a reduced price if they choose to trade in their Xbox One or Playstation 4. As of right now the only place to be offering this trade-in deal is GameStop.
GameStop announced that they would be offering a limited time trade-in offer to allow players to get the new system for $175 instead of the typical price of $300. They will pay you $125 for your PS4 or Xbox One when you apply your trade in to upgrade to the newer version. People trading in the PS4 will be able to apply their credit towards the Xbox One S and vise versa if people wish o switch consoles.
The Xbox One S has been out since the beginning of August and the Playstation 4 Slim was released earlier today. Both systems take away some weight and physical footprint from their predecessors.
The offer has a time limit and can be utilized up until September 20th.
