Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026 Brings Sea of Remnants Winds of Memory Trailer

Joker Studio’s Sea of Remnants made an appearance at today’s Gamescom 2026, through a new Winds of Memory Gamescom trailer. The trailer shows a lady stumbling through a house, changing into many faces, and dropping her compass. The hands of the compass move, so does time,  showing viewers an attack on a boat, many characters falling into the water, then the original lady drifting alone in the sea. A fish enters her, and “Winds of memory” start to play, as multiple fish transport her onto a boat, which she’s steering, before fast forwarding her onto dry land.

On the new presumably island she’s on,  she sets off, touching a magical rune, walking past pink skeletons, running on a bridge following a pink light, and opening a chest which gives her new clothes. She and another person shake a tree, fighting to gain a pearl necklace, stolen by a monkey and she explores what seems to be a labyrinth. Where she walks through locked sections, before getting hit by a rolling metal ball, that follows her as she explores deeper and deeper inside. She’s not only among fellow people, as she faces off against crab monsters and unleashes special attacks like “Shadow Time” and more. The trailer also teases sea battles, as a ship faces off against what seems to be an electric fish, opposing pirates, and a sea dragon as the trailer comes to a close. Not without noting that those interested in Sea of Remnants  can Pre-register the game on its website: seaofremnants.com! Sea of Remnants is expected to drop in 2027, and it’ll be on PC, Mobile, Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5 and X box One according to its Gamescom website.
