Ever wanted to play a fun racing game, but it cost too much? Well put your wallet away, cause Microsoft has announced this Spring a free to play version of Forza Motorsport 6, called Forza Motorsport 6: Apex will be released on Windows 10. All you need to get this game is have Windows 10 and access to the Microsoft Store.
If a free racing game is not convincing enough for you, Microsoft has promised “thrilling racing, addictive gameplay, and stunning graphics.” This game will be using Microsoft’s forzatech engine along with DirectX 12 allowing for a maximum resolution of 4k! Microsoft says this “is the first step in [their] commitment to creating amazing Forza experiences for Windows 10 PC gamers.”
If you are not that big of a racing game fan do not worry, because the developers said they made this game for beginners to the series. There will also be a 12 event career mode with the voices of Richard Hammond and James May from BBC’s Top Gear.
The base game will be released with a lot of content. There will be a wide selection of 63 modern and classic cars to choose from. There will also be 20 different courses with a night and wet-weather variation to choose from. For even more details on this game check out Microsoft’s announcement.
