In celebration of Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition’s upcoming release, developer Square Enix has announced that the game will be receiving some special costumes from The Sims 4 and vice versa. For those who want a peek at the new duds coming to the land of Eos, here is a trailer showing off the outfits.
The Llama and Plumbob Suits will be available to wear by player’s multiplayer avatars, as well as by Noctis and his friends within the single player mode. Additionally, players of The Sims 4 will be able to dress up in a Noctis Lucis Caelum outfit sometime after the game launches. They will also be able to change the color of this outfit if the classic black doesn’t quite fit their style.
The costume appears to be free to all players of The Sims 4, and will not require a preorder on the Origin service. Final Fantasy XV initially launched back for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One back in November of 2016. Since then Square Enix have kept a steady supply of updates, events, and DLC centered around the main characters in the game.
Many fans expected the developer to end their line of post launch content for the game after the end of last year but Square Enix has expressed plans to keep providing content up into 2019. Now, the PC version of the game, which was revealed back in August of last year, received its official release date in January and is now launching in a few days on March 6, about 16 months after the release of the console version.
