Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster’s First Three Games Launch Later This Month

Earlier this week we reported on a Square Enix revealing that the first entries in the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster would be coming sometime in the month of July. Well, it didn’t take long for the company to officially confirm this as they’ve fully announced that the first three games in the series, Final Fantasy I, II, and III will launch on July 28 for Android, iOS, and PC through Steam. The other three titles in this collection, Final Fantasy IV, V, and VI are also scheduled to release sometime this year, although Square Enix has yet to unveil the dates for those titles.

Square Enix initially announced the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster during their press conference at E3 2021. As we already know, these JRPG’s have been given a visual update with their pixels. This means that all of the character, monster, and overworld models have been improved upon to make them more vibrant than their NES and SNES counterparts. In addition, all of the musical compositions have been rearranged by legendary video game composer Nobuo Uematsu. To top of off, all of the games will have a special extra section such as bestiary, illustration gallery, music player, and the absolutely important and valuable ability to save at any time in the game.

The first three games in the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster will launch on July 28  for Android, iOS, and PC through Steam. The first two titles will retail for $11.99 each while the third game will retail for $17.99. If you pre-order any of the three titles through Steam, you’ll save 20% off each one. If you prefer, you can buy the entire set of six games with discount of $74.82. Check out a special gallery of what the first three titles from Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster will look like when it launches later this month!
