Evil Dead: The Game Announced at The Game Awards 2020

A supernatural horror game based on the popular horror movie franchise Evil Dead was announced tonight at The Game Awards. The trailer features some series favorite characters such as Ash, who is played by Bruce Campbell, and his girlfriend, Linda. Much of the story featured is reminiscent of Army of Darkness, a movie that came out in 1992 which features Lord Arthur. The trailer showed Ash driving into the mountains to this cabin area which has The Book of the Dead. This book was left behind by an archeologist and it “awoke something dark in the woods.” Players can then expect to try to fight these zombies as they try to storm the cabin.

The trailer for Evil Dead: The Game features pre-alpha game footage as it showed a bit of the co-op and PvP gameplay that can be experienced.

Evil Dead: The Game was created by Boss Team Games and Saber Interactive and is expected to release in 2021 to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
