With E3 coming up next week, game developers have been releasing pre E3 trailers to get fans hyped up for the yearly convention. Bandai Namco is no different and has chosen to release a trailer for their next installment in the Ace Combat Series.
This installment has been dubbed Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown and, from the trailer below, appears to be set up to the players across the globe with a wide range of maps to fly on.
The trailer itself doesn’t reveal too much about the game, but does show off some pretty intense dogfights and some serious jets flying through the sky. More notably however, the trailer reveals some backstory into what the campaign has to offer.
“Leveraging the power of the newest generation gaming consoles, ACE COMBAT 7 will blow players away with the evolution of its graphics engine. Beautifully rendered cloud-filled skies and highly detailed cityscapes enhance the sense of unparalleled speed and set the stage for the most engaging aerial battles in the franchise’s storied 20 year history.”
Playstation 4 players who use VR will have the added benefit of having special VR missions to take part in, in what they call “realism” from the game. The game was supposed to be released at the end of this year, but was ultimately pushed back to sometime in 2018.
If you find yourself attending E3 make sure to see this as it sure looks like its another impressive game in the series.
