With E3 coming to a close now, it’s time to take a look back at what we saw there.
Some of our team that was able to go got to try out some of the demos there such as:
Jo Jo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven Demo.
Bass Drop on PlayStation VR which allowed us to try VR in a world that brought us into and arcade styled game.
The PS4 version of the popular computer game, Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity.
The fun demo for the indie game Just Shapes and Beats.
The wonderful open world of Dragon Quest Builders.
Wild Guns Reloaded demo which is a new PS4 game with the same style of the original Wild Guns.
We were able to try out the demo for Sisters, a new VR mobile game that will leave you with an interesting VR experience.
There was a demo for the Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star which was a typical hack and slash game to be enjoyed by fans of that play style.
With the increase in popularity of online card collecting games, Bethesda made the Elder Scrolls: Legends and we were able to try out a couple rounds on the demo.
Microsoft’s new puzzle game Far.
Days Gone which brings real horror into the zombie horror genre.
The Outlast II Demo which scared us and left us in amazement.
And the E3 experience would not be complete without some E3 exclusive presentations on games such as:
Dragon Ball Z Xenoverse 2 where we were able to view what they have done to improve upon the most successful Dragon Ball game.
We got to see the new changes made in Civilization VI.
Injustice 2 where we got to check out the new features and a few of the new characters.
God of War gameplay
And lastly, the E3 exclusive Persona 5 gameplay trailer that showed off what Persona 5 has to offer as a step up from the past installments.
While, the rest of us got to view the big E3 press conferences from the comfort of our homes, and we saw games such as:
Battlefield 1 trailers and gameplay
Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn possibly coming to Xbox One
Elder Scrolls: Legends coming out for PC, mac, and mobile devices
South Park: The Fractured But Whole
New Amiibos for Zelda: Breath Of the Wild
And Gravity Rush 2
All in all this was a very successful E3 showcase, can’t wait until next year to see what is to come in the future of gaming.
