Dying Light 2: Stay Human Delayed Again, Will Now Release On February 4, 2022

After getting delayed indefinitely last year and again to December, Dying Light 2: Stay Human has been delayed again. Techland has announced that  the game is now set to be released on February 4, 2022. Dying Light 2: Stay Human puts players in the role of a wanderer with the power to change the fate of The City. In order to survive, you’ll have to hone your skills, defeat your enemies and make allies, all while making choices that will change The City forever. Like the first game, Dying Light 2: Stay Human features a vast open-world, day and night cycle, and creative and brutal combat.

Developer Techland said that the game is complete and is currently playtesting the game to fix any issues that may come up. Techland also revealed that press and content creators will get their hands on the game next month in a series of preview events around the world next month so you can expect to see some more of the game until then.

Techland CEO Pawel Marchewka said “It has always been our company’s goal to build transparent and honest communication with our community, fans, and gamers. Every day, we strive to grow in this element. The team is steadily progressing with the production and the game is nearing the finish line. The game is complete and we are currently playtesting it. It is by far the biggest and the most ambitious project we’ve ever done. Unfortunately, we’ve realized for us to bring the game to the level we envision, we need more time to polish and optimize it. That is why we have decided to move the release date to February 4, 2022.”

Dying Light 2: Stay Human will be available to play on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and on PC.
