Dragon’s Dogma Released on PS4 and XBox One

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, or as I like to refer to it; Monster Souls of Dark Final Amular Fantasy Hunter, has come to the PS4 and Xbox One. When Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen was first released in 2012, it was met with very positive reviews, garnering an 80 on Metacritic. Then again in 2016 the game finally reached PC and Steam, scoring an 81 on Metacritic, getting balanced and objective reviews as this one by Jabidowski:

I waited it 3 years and it finally here, BEST RPG GAME FOR PC EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Its better than GTA V, Witcher 3, Assasins Creed Syndicate and Black Ops 3.
There is some problems with controls but game is great!

An action RPG from the makers of Monster Hunter, with game direction by Hideaki Itsuno of Devil May Cry fame, Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, brings brutal combat to the fore, pitting your character and their allies against massive enemies in a fully realized and interesting game world. On top of the storytelling and fun of squad-based draconic combat, Dragon’s Dogma allows you to pick people up and throw them around like nothing.

Far be it for Capcom to mess with something they know works, they have capped the framerate at 30 FPS to keep the combat smooth, however, you’ll find that you can now explore Gransys (the fantasy setting, not your grandmother’s computer) in full 4k resolution. That way, when a hill giant kicks you in half, you’ll be able to savor every moment of it. You can check out the comparison below.

John Baltisberger: John Baltisberger is a veteran of numerous D&D campaigns. He has fought against moblins, koopas, Dr. Robotnik, and of course the forces of Outworld. When not engaged in digital warfare. John the Warrior can be found having tea with his daughter or smooching his bulldog.
