Every weekend, Steam puts out a small group of games that are discounted at a lower price and available for free. The cluster of fun and cool games are live right now and ready to be played. Steam was developed by Valve Corporation, and in 1998, debuted the title Half-Life, leaving PC Gamer to note it as one of the best PC games ever. It also won more than 50 best game of the year awards. The fun does not stop there, as Valve Corporation continues to release a variety of action filled content to this day.
The first free available game live this weekend is Conan Exiles, which had its release date in May of last year. This game is stationed in the intense brutal lands of Conan the Barbarian. The players of the game will be traveling in an open-world, having to survive and build a kingdom out of nothing. Conan Exiles can be played in single player mode, co-op or in online multiplayer modes.
Throughout the game, players can explore the wilderness, fight against monsters, steal treasures and battle against other clans to become the dominant clan in all of the land. A good thing is that developers recently added updates to the game, so check it out for yourselves.
Conan Exiles will be free to play until Saturday, March 10 starting from 1 PM PST and 4 PM EST. The price for standard edition is 50% off this weekend, costing just $20, and the deluxe edition is 40% off pricing it at $42. In addition to the purchasing the deluxe edition, gamers will receive five DLC packs.
Another fun adventure game available is Warhammer: Vermintide 2, a first person co-op adventure where gamers fight alongside three companions against hordes of Skaven and Chaos. Players will have five different characters and 15 unique classes to choose from. This game will be available for free until Sunday, March 10 at 1 PM PST and 4 PM EST. This game cost 60% off, valuing it at $12 and the collector’s edition is 60% off, at $18. This game will be available until Monday, March 11 and ready to play at 10 AM PST and 1 PM EST.
Hover is another free game to play at no cost until Sunday. This game is set in a fast-paced world using high tech gear to pull off some cool tricks and combos. The player of the game will be leading a group of rebels against an anti-leisure dictatorship. The game is 66% off at $6.79 until Tuesday, March 12 starting at 10 AM PST and 1 PM EST.
