It looks like we’re in for yet another installment of the fabled Crash Bandicoot franchise. Crash Team Rumble was announced at The Game Awards 2022, and just like the name suggests, it’s a team based title as opposed to the single-player main entries. The game will be developed by Toys for Bob and of course published by Activision Blizzard.
The trailer shows the titular Crash and other characters from the franchise running at each other preparing for battle. It then cuts to a small vignette of gameplay, where we see the aforementioned characters using their abilities on what appears to be a small map/arena. Crash Team Rumble will launch sometime in 2023 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/Series S, and Xbox One.
