Today developer and publisher Spry Fox has announced that their new game Cozy Grove will release in the next few weeks on April 8. Through the help of The Quantum Astrophysicists Guild, the game will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch. Cozy Grove is a slice-of-life game that takes place on a haunted island. In Cozy Grove you play as a Spirit Scout with the task of helping out the many ghostly characters on the island. Players will build and decorate their own camp, while making friends with the different ghosts.
Activities on the island range from crafting decorations and collecting spirit animals, to even fishing. Players will be able to venture into the forest in order to explore new areas and find new items for them to craft. The game is supposed to be an over forty-hour experience filled with side quests and is designed to be experienced over months of playtime. Overall the game is meant to be a relaxing experience that players can jump into for as long or as short as they like. Players who enjoy similar style games such as Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley may want to keep an eye out for when Cozy Grove finally releases.
Cozy Grove will release on both PC and consoles on April 8 for $14.99 USD with a 10% discount. Additionally starting tomorrow March 25, those who pre-order the game on Nintendo Switch will receive a limited-edition cosmetic pack that includes three different costumes.
