The Co-Founders of RockSteady Studios Stefon Hill and Jamie Walker have started a new development studio. The new development studio is called Hundred Star Games and it is located in London, England. Hundred Star Games Studio is an AAA studio that will have “only 100 industry veterans and emerging talents, who are committed to crafting cutting-edge gaming experiences that inspire and captivate players worldwide”.
Stefon Hill and Jamie Walker left Rocksteady Studios in 2022 to “start a new adventure”. They had been with RockSteady Studios since 2004. This is a little of what they had to say in regards to their departure at the time:
One very special ingredient in all of this is the Rocksteady fans. Their excitement and support for what we do is the fuel that motivates us to be our best. They are the extended Rocksteady team and we wish them a huge thank you for energizing us over the last 18 years! Now with Suicide Squad in safe hands, and the team here stronger than ever, it’s time to hand over the reins, and for us to start a new adventure together in games.
Although Stefon Hill and Jamie Walker haven’t officially announced Hundred Star Games, information about the new development studio can be found on Endole which is” corporate data website”. On Endole it says the status of the development studio is active since incorporation which was February 21, 2023. They also listed the classification for development studio. The listed classification for Hundred Star games includes “publishing of computer games, Ready-made interactive leisure and entertainment software development, and other information technology and computed service activities”.
Hundred Star Games has also been listed on the GreatPlaceToWork Website. According to the website, “100% of employees at Hundred Star Games say it is great place to work”. Hundred Star Games also already has their social pages up like Instagram, Facebook, and Linkedin but no posts yet. Along with having social media pages up, they have also launched their official website.
