Cyberpunk 2077 is still very much a highly talked about game despite its still barren details. Although we are getting little bits and pieces of information pertaining to the game here and there, we have not gotten any official gameplay of the game yet. However, CD Projekt Red just went live on their Twitch channel, and they are currently “playing” Cyberpunk 2077 with the stream titled “DATA TRANSMISSION IN PROGRESS_”.
During this “Data Transmission”, over 20,000 watched a bunch of garbled white text behind a black background continuously being typed out. Many people are currently confused as to what is going on, and it is apparent from the chat. Many are begging CD Projekt Red to show gameplay, and others are just dying to know what is even going on in the first place. This wouldn’t be the first time that CD Projekt Red have been a bit of a tease to the lead up of Cyberpunk 2077 information. Leading up to E3, they used their Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter for the first time in years, and during E3, CD Projekt Red put on one hell of an official reveal of Cyberpunk 2077‘s world.
There have been some that are trying to crack the code on what exactly is behind this live stream. Since there is a heavy hacking theme with Cyberpunk 2077, people have theorized that there is some sort of message or code behind the garbled text being spit out onto the screen. However, some also think that all of this text might really be meaningless, and this whole stream is just to pique the curiosity of many in order to gain an audience for something exciting.
Regardless, there is definitely something that is going to be shown at the end of this “transmission”. Whether or not there is a hidden message is up in the air, but CD Projekt Red are known for messing with their fans, but they are also committed to following through on big revealed from teasers.
