Today, Capcom held another Capcom Spotlight presentation, sharing updates to games out now and providing new information on upcoming titles including PRAGMATA, Street Fighter 6, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, Resident Evil Requiem, and Monster Hunter Wilds. Here’s a rundown of everthing that was showcased.
The developers of PRAGMATA detailed more information about the game’s story and its unique combat. The game talks place in the near future. Since the discovery of Lunam Ore, humanity has developed a material capable of replicating almost anything called Lunafilament. One day, Earth lost contact with the lunar research station dedicated to this Lunafilament without warning.
Players take on the role of Hugh Williams, who is dispatched to the moon as part of a team sent to investigate what happened. Hugh gets separated from his team, injured, and knocked out following a lunar quake, which suddenly strikes the facility. In this moment, Hugh gets rescued by an enigmatic Pragmata, a unique android created using Lunafilament, who has the appearance of a young girl. Together, Hugh and the Pragmata who Hugh nicknames “Diana” join forces to fend off the station’s rampaging bots as they try to escape the lunar station and return to Earth.
Hacking and shooting are at the core of PRAGMATA’s combat and gameplay. A panel will appear while aiming at enemies, representing Diana’s ability to hack into foes’ defenses. Diana has to hack and take down the enemy shield and defenses, then Hugh can blast at the weak points with his arsenal to take them out. Hacking is down by maneuvering the cursor through a panel, which will in turn take down their armor and provide openings. Exploration is also a dual effort. Diana can hack to access the facility’s systems and remove environmental barriers that block progress. Hugh can use his suit’s thrusters to traverse the lunar station’s terrain.
PRAGMATA releases in 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam.

Resident Evil Requiem is set to release next year on February 27. During the presentation, the developers of Capcom shared more details on the inspirations for the game and more info on the new protagonist, Grace Ashcroft, an FBI intelligence analyst who is introverted and easily scared, marking a new type of character for the series. Grace will experience horror from the same same perspective as the player as she learns to overcome her fears throughout the course of the story.
Set 30 years after the U.S. government deployed the Sterilization Missile to destroy Raccoon City and contain the t-virus outbreak, Resident Evil Requiem is a eulogy to the many characters who were involved in the original outbreak and either lost their lives or were changed drastically as a result of it. In honor of the game’s 30-year anniversary coming up in March, Director Koshi Nakanishi, Art Director Tomonori Takano, and Producers Masachika Kawata and Masato Kumazawa, explain that “addictive fear” is the fuel with horror at the heart of its gameplay.
“Horror is one of the most important aspects of the Resident Evil series,” Masachika Kawata said. “So, we wanted to make this fear factor a key feature of the gameplay”
Koshi Nakanishi said “our core concept for this game was ‘addictive fear’. There’s something about the catharsis you get from overcoming your fears. It creates an addiction that makes you want to do more, to play more. That intense focus, while scary, makes this for a really fun game. This served as our launching point for Requiem.”
Capcom has focused on delivering an unprecedented level of realism, down to minute character details like the redness of Grace’s face as she’s hanging upside down, and the natural movement of her hair, modeled in part using a custom-made wig as reference. Capcom also talked about including both first – and third-person perscpectives throughout the game. The first-person perspective allows players to experience the horror up close and personal with tense, realistic gameplay. The over-the-shoulder camera with third-person perspective allows players to create a more action-heavy gameplay experience.
