This morning, Capcom unveiled a treat just in time for Halloween. To thank their fans, Capcom revealed that Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield will get their classic costumes in Resident Evil 2. The costumes are free and unlockable for all players, and some hardcore fans have noticed that they may not be the exact same costumes as before. Claire seems to have a slightly different look, as she doesn’t have the black sleeves or a high neck from the shirt underneath her jacket.
We have a treat for you! As a thanks for your undying support, we’re providing all Resident Evil 2 players with a piece of nostalgia:

While these are two of the classic costumes, they are not the only ones. Players can get 5 additional costumes that’ll come with the game’s Deluxe and Collector’s Editions. These five costumes include the Military and the Elza Walker outfit for Claire, and the Arklay Sheriff outfit for Leon. Both Leon and Claire also get Noir costumes that seem to pair very nicely with the Noir filter that appears in the trailer.
The Deluxe and Collector’s editions don’t just come with these additional outfits. The Deluxe Edition will also come with a pistol called Samurai Edge – Albert Model and a soundtrack swap that’ll enable the soundtrack from the original game. The Deluxe Edition will cost $70. The Gamestop Exclusive Collector’s Edition comes with everything in the Deluxe Edition plus a 12-inch Leon statue, a collector’s artbook, and R.P.D. blueprints, and everything will come in an R.P.D. item box packaging. The Collector’s Edition will set gamers back $200.
Everyone in the gaming community seems to be extremely excited about the remake version of Resident Evil 2 ever since it was revealed at E3. The game releases January 25, 2019, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
