Earlier today, Capcom revealed their quarterly report for 2026, and from the looks of it, they had a very strong quarter. Capcom revealed some information on a few of their currently released games, the Q1 report mentioning that both Resident Evil Requiem and Pragmata hit sales records within the first quarter of 2026.

Resident Evil Requiem came into Q1 with 8 million copies sold overall. The survival horror game released on February 27th of this year, and seems to have racked up numbers between then and end the of the first quarter. Being the most recent installment within the Resident Evil franchise, Resident Evil Requiem has shown to be quite a successful benchmark in the series so far, and will likely continue to sell copies as the year goes on.

Pragmata is a much more recent release within Capcom’s library, officially dropping on April 17th of this year. The sci-fi action-adventure game reached over 2.5 million copies within the first quarter, with 2 million of these sales being made within the first month of the game’s release. This benchmark alone reveals the success that Pragmata brought to Capcom within just three months of time, and the continued success the game will have as the year continues, just like Resident Evil Requiem.

Overall, the success of both Resident Evil Requiem and Pragmata have made it abundantly clear that Capcom saw plenty of success within the first quarter.
