Capcom Announces Capcom Spotlight Showcase Next Week

Capcom has announced it will be airing Capcom Spotlight presentation next week on Thursday, March 9th. The showcase event will be approximately 26 minutes long and will feature news and updates on some of their current and upcoming games. The presentation will air at 2:30 PM PT / 5:30 PM EST. Viewers can watch the broadcast on Capcom’s official YouTube and Twitch channels next week. 

From Capcom’s official website on the broadcast Capcom states, 

“Looking to learn more about Capcom’s latest titles? Then don’t miss the Capcom Spotlight on March 9, 2023! This is a digital event where we’ll be sharing updates and new information about our upcoming games.”

Some of the games featured to expect in the presentation will include Resident Evil 4, Monster Hunter Rise, Exoprimal, Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection, and Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective. As well as any new updates to the respective games. 

Recently, Capcom featured some new trailers for Sony’s State of Play which included new footage of Street Fighter 6 and the remake of Resident Evil 4. Street Fighter 6 saw updates on the three final fighters joining the roster. Zangief and Cammy will both be returning to the game as well as a new fighter Lily was showcased. It does not appear any new information for Street Fighter 6 will be announced at the Capcom Spotlight showcase next week. 

Capcom’s hotly anticipated Resident Evil 4, a next-gen remake of 2005’s Resident Evil 4 is set to be released later this month on March 24th. As well, Capcom is said to be releasing a demo for the game in the coming weeks. Resident Evil 4 has been featured in numerous gameplay trailers since its announcement, displaying the incredible rework and love that has been put into the acclaimed classic.
