Capcom And Niantic’s Monster Hunter Now Releases September 14

Capcom and Niantic’s collaborative mobile game Monster Hunter Now is set to release September 14th, 2023. Following number of closed beta tests, the game developers launched a Monster Hunter Now Showcase, detailing all the new features and weapons players alongside the release date.

Thirteen monsters will be available in the game at launch including Great Jagras, Kulu-Ya-Ku, Pukei-Pukei, Barroth, Great Girros, Tobi-Kadachi, Jyuratodus, Paolumu, Anjanath, Rathian, Legiana, Rathalos and Diablos. Players will discover these monsters in unique areas like swamps, deserts, and forests through exploring their towns. Additionally, players will be able to use the weapons ‘Sword & Shield’, ‘Great Sword’, ‘Long Sword’, ‘Hammer’, ‘Light Bowgun’, and ‘Bow’ at launch on their monster hunting quests.

Players can pre-register for Monster Hunter Now start today on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, and those that pre-register can earn more rewards as registrations rise before the launch. According to the milestone chart, players can earn the following:

  • 500,000 pre-registrations – Potion x10 & Paintball x3
  • 1,000,000 pre-registrations – Founder Medal & Wander Pebble x3
  • 2,000,000 pre-registrations – Special Pre-Order Makeup x2 & Item Box Expansion +500
  • 3,000,000 pre-registrations – Special Pre-Order Makeup x2 & Double Rewards Ticket x3
  • 5,000,000 pre-registrations – 10k Zenny & Item Box Expansion +500
