Capcom and Niantic’s collaborative mobile game Monster Hunter Now is set to release September 14th, 2023. Following number of closed beta tests, the game developers launched a Monster Hunter Now Showcase, detailing all the new features and weapons players alongside the release date.
Thirteen monsters will be available in the game at launch including Great Jagras, Kulu-Ya-Ku, Pukei-Pukei, Barroth, Great Girros, Tobi-Kadachi, Jyuratodus, Paolumu, Anjanath, Rathian, Legiana, Rathalos and Diablos. Players will discover these monsters in unique areas like swamps, deserts, and forests through exploring their towns. Additionally, players will be able to use the weapons ‘Sword & Shield’, ‘Great Sword’, ‘Long Sword’, ‘Hammer’, ‘Light Bowgun’, and ‘Bow’ at launch on their monster hunting quests.
Players can pre-register for Monster Hunter Now start today on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, and those that pre-register can earn more rewards as registrations rise before the launch. According to the milestone chart, players can earn the following:
- 500,000 pre-registrations – Potion x10 & Paintball x3
- 1,000,000 pre-registrations – Founder Medal & Wander Pebble x3
- 2,000,000 pre-registrations – Special Pre-Order Makeup x2 & Item Box Expansion +500
- 3,000,000 pre-registrations – Special Pre-Order Makeup x2 & Double Rewards Ticket x3
- 5,000,000 pre-registrations – 10k Zenny & Item Box Expansion +500
